Our church takes a turn at local soup kitchen, Bread Basket (an ecumenical ministry located at 140 Chisolm St, Sanford), every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
Meal preparation begins about 8:30am; meals are boxed between 10:30 and 11:15 and distributed from 11:30 to 12:30; cleanup is done by 1pm. You can volunteer for the whole time or for any shorter period that fits your schedule.
