2025 marks the sesquicentennial (try saying that 5 times fast!) year for the town of Sanford, and for one of its founding churches, Jonesboro United Methodist church. Our records show that we started with “about a dozen” people, and we met in the school during our earliest days. A high priority for those people was establishing a school–and we did so within our first year!
